The earlier and the younger, the better it is.
Traditionally Circumcision is performed on the eighth day.
Therefore, this procedure is most done on newborns within the ideal times of the first few days to a few weeks of life.
Most commonly, Circumcision involves boys within their first six months of age.
Some cultures perform Circumcision in teenage as a sign of entre to manhood. However, older children require longer healing time and may need safe light conscious sedation.
Parents may be allowed to join their children during the light-conscious sedation administration for better support to ensure parental assurance around the safety of Saddik Protocol.
Circumcision is usually done at earlier appointments, as early as seven o’clock morning for older children and adults.

The circumcision surgery is no different from any other surgery, where the postoperative review follow-up is a must.
The Circumcision Doctor, Dr. Ashraf Saddik, strongly advises and highly recommends the necessity of postoperative review for many reasons, including but not limited to ensuring no future complication is overlooked by the carer/ parents or the adults, i.e., embedded sunken penis, any adherence of the foreskin to the glans, free separation of the shaft of the penis from the glans and the complete healing of the frenulum.
The Circumcision Doctor, Dr. Ashraf Saddik, notes from many years of experience that the people who have not shown up for their postoperative review are likely to face some complications down the track due to not following the postoperative recommended instruction action plan.
The Circumcision Doctor, Dr. Ashraf Saddik, does not charge you for the follow-up appointments provided you have a valid Medicare card. All the Circumcision Doctor, Dr. Ashraf Saddik, consultations are relatable to Medicare Australia.
The Circumcision Doctor, Dr. Saddik, recommends that once the swelling has resolved and the penis feels normal again, erections are no longer uncomfortable. In addition, Saddik Protocol technique shortened recovery time to about three weeks to resume sex life.
The data suggest that improving sexual pleasure can increase the like-hood of women reaching orgasm due to increased contact of the penis with the vagina and better stimulation. Also, the data indicate that women prefer the circumcised penis for better appearance, cleaner hygiene, and reduced sexual difficulties and pain with men with phimosis. In addition, a circumcised man does not affect the sensitivity of the flaccid penis.
The problem of overly tender sensitivity of the head of the penis (glans) experienced by an uncircumcised penis is virtually eliminated.
Circumcision Doctor, Dr. Saddik, has developed a safe Saddik Protocol over many years of experience since 1981.
The Circumcision Doctor, Dr. Saddik, has a unique Saddik Protocol.
Saddik Protocol covers the technique of the local ring and pudendal nerve block through one skin-piercing spot at the base of the penis, reducing discomfort and pain at the injection site. Also, the local anaesthetic has both long and short-acting analgesia effects for 6-8 hours with lower bleeding risk.
The Circumcision Doctor, Dr. Saddik, provides the Saddik Protocol that overcomes the above complication. In addition, the Saddik Protocol technique manages well what is known as a buried penis, secondary paraphimosis, painful or unnecessary forcible restraint, hematoma, and excessive postoperative bleeding. The Saddik Protocol is safe and practical and has a high success rate with minimal complication and highly satisfactory outcomes for all age groups.
Some use the ring device; others use the standard clamp guided technique.
The ring device carries its problems, including the risk of difficulty removing the ring, sloughing, bruising the shaft of the penis, or damaging the glands (the head) necrosis.
The ring is a quick procedure, but the troubles come later the ring separation after 3-7 days.
The ring device method is for neonates and low-weight infants with thin prepuce, and the Clamp device is a safer traditional, and you would be able to see the glans from the first day with no surprise.
Circumcision is performed by the standard traditional surgical forceps clamp guided technique. the standard traditional surgical forceps clamp guided technique works well for all age groups, safe with excellent cosmetic outlook.
Circumcision performed by Plastic devices has its limitation that cannot fit older boys at about puberty or older due to restrictions in the sizes of plastic devices. The plastibell removes most of the inner layer of the foreskin, which is sensitive, erogenous tissue. On the other hand, the traditional method turns the inner foreskin back into the hands of inexperienced providers.
The danger of the plastibell ring method has been explored in the following

The Circumcision Doctor, Dr. saddik does not recommend using medical glue in adult circumcision. The adhesive may break up at nocturnal erection, causing hematoma, bruised looking, and requiring re-suturing.
The Traditional horizontal crushing device method has no limitation to a any age group, Compared to the plastibell ring device or Gomco clamp. However, the ring bell technique is limited to the younger age group. It comes in 6 sizes only. It is unsuitable for older kids as the ring will not fit the growing glans. The plastibell ring must sit on before it falls off in 3-7 days, leaving a circumferential wound that will heal over the following week. The ring must fall off before the final healing can occur. Rarely the tip of the glans may protrude through the ring and become swollen, trapping the ring in place.
Furthermore, because convalescence depends on a temporarily affixed medical device, the risk of infection or haemorrhage due to the bell slipping or failing is more significant than the traditional techniques.
Several reports in the literature of urinary retention after Circumcision using the ring device. There have been multiple cases of children developing necrotizing fasciitis of the penis after Circumcision performed by the ring method, and others end up with necrosis of the glans.
The danger of the plastibell ring method has been explored in the following

Your child may have developed what appeared as a buried penis in pubic fat, which is called puppy fat, where the penis is anchored to the pubic bone and tends to get “buried” in the fat pad. Many boys develop a pad of “puppy fat” in front of their pubic bone. That “puppy fat” pushes the shaft skin forward so that it overhangs or even covers the head of the penis. Make sure to push the foreskin down over the tip of the penis after washing it. If it stays up, the foreskin may swell (drainage of blood away from the foreskin may be affected), and the foreskin can become tight and painful. If that should happen with your boy, there will be a necessity, every day, when you bathe him, to push that shaft skin back firmly towards his pubic bone. This is for two reasons: If you can’t see it, you can’t clean it. Smegma will accumulate in the groove behind the head of the penis. Don’t fear it – you won’t hurt him! And you won’t have to do it forever. Most boys seem to burn up that “puppy fat” by running around, riding bikes, and all those boy things.
The Circumcision Doctor, Dr. Saddik, is happy to assess you through the postoperative period. If you have any concerns or experience difficulties, please do not hesitate to contact us.
The Circumcision Doctor, Dr. Saddik, does not use the medical grade cyanoacrylate super glue adhesive because the tissue adhesives carry risks of hematoma formation and related suture detachment.
Some data observed the occurrence of postoperative wound swelling, bleeding, and infection (wound with pus and separation), and the pain were present at 4 hours, 24 hours, and seven days after surgery.
Complications following newborn Circumcision are uncommon; they appear in one of every 500 procedures. The American Medical Association quotes a complication rate of 0.2%–0.6%. However, apart from the pain and distress, many complications of Circumcision were reported though rare. Most minor complications, but some can be more severe. Penile amputation and even death have been reported.
The Circumcision Doctor, Dr. saddik, has a great deal of empathy with new parents who have a newly born baby boy who goes for circumcision surgery in the early weeks of his infancy. The Circumcision Doctor, Dr. saddik, appreciates the parents’ worry and perceptions about their very young infant, who was perceived that their baby had been distressed or bleeding from a sensitive area following an elective ritual procedure.

These include
- Hypospadias and other congenital anomalies of the penis. (Hypospadias is a congenital disability of the urethra in the male that involves an abnormally placed urethral meatus (opening).
- Family history of a bleeding disorder or an actual bleeding disorder.
- Severely jaundiced (yellow) neonates.
- Chordee (ventral angulations of the penis).
- Sick and unwell neonates.
- Inadequate expertise and facilities
The Circumcision Doctor, Dr.Ashraf Saddik, has developed his own technique over 40 years of performing circumcisions for infants and adults. The method covers the following:
- The unique approach is of single local anaesthetic skin piercing targeting the pudendal nerve block to numb the penis safely and effectively with minimal discomfort.
- The safe protocol is designed for light sedation for older children and adults. The Circumcision Doctor, Dr.Ashraf saddik, had a Postgraduate Diploma in anaesthesiology in 1986.
- The surgical approach ensures the prevention of the most common technical difficulties, such as handling the inner prepuce mucosa that covers the glans and the buried penis and gently exposing the glans to avoid any adhesions to the shaft of the penis or damage to the tips of the penis. So the techniques avoid most circumcision revisions.
- The technique adapts well to infants and adults.
- The healing outcome is favourable for a cosmetic look with a fast healing process, minimal postoperative hematoma, and a smooth scar line.
- Most notable is the final excellent foreskin tension and a balanced cut ratio of the outer shaft and the inner foreskin, so the sulcus is fully open and permits full erection without flaccid penis droopy foreskin.
